The Music Aggregation Project

Putting it all together

With the open nature of the internet and the endless flow of data and information at your fingertips today, gathering information on almost any topic has become more feasable than ever. We decided to embark on a journey to see if it was possible to accumulate catalogue and artist data from all publicly available sources on the internet and build one big database.

"Eureka PLAY uses publicly available APIs to connect to all the major streaming services."

Eureka PLAY was born

Eureka PLAY is a non-commercial, in-house project that uses publicly available APIs to connect to all the major streaming services in real time to gather data and present it in one convenient, interactive package. The MAP combines the best of all major databases of music on the internet and provides one location to find literally any song, any album, any track available in the world.

All the music in the world...

With almost 30 millions songs and counting, Eureka PLAY is still growing and capturing data from all over the internet to provide one location where all of it can be found. Some new features include:

  • User Playlist creation
  • Genre identification and breakdowns
  • User queue addition and deletion
  • Artist tastes and radio curation.
A worthy control panel

We set out to build a control panel with Eureka PLAY to give us all the information we need in one convenient dashboard. All user data, all location data, daily activity and of course artist and catalague information. All aspects of the application are editable and customizable from this control panel. Applications built by us through all our development services will have a convenient, easy to use control panel just like this one.
